DESCRIPTIONThe Jason Lee house, Salem's oldest residence, is being moved from its temporary location on Front Street to the Kay Woolen Mill property at 12th and Mill Streets on July 23, 1965. It got stuck when going under the Center Street Bridge. The problem was solved by letting some of the air out of the tires on the vehicles and the move was successfully completed.
