DESCRIPTIONThe old State Capitol Building facing Court Street in Salem, Oregon, as it appeared after the porticoes and Corinthian columns had been added in 1888. A small fence surrounds it and young trees are growing on either side of it. In this photo the Capitol is shown before the dome was added in 1893. The photo came from the Trover collection and was printed from a glass negative.
