| DESCRIPTION | A drawing shows the first Oregon Statehouse which was located in Oregon City and used in 1849-1850. The building was two stories with a daylight basement area at one end where the land sloped to the rear. Entrances are at the lowest level and on one side where a stepped sloping walk runs from that door to the lower level. |
