| DESCRIPTION | Shown is a picture of the John Boon house that was located at 876 Liberty Street N.E. The picture was taken around 1963 and shows the house ready to be moved to the Mission Mill Historical area. A one story wooden building with a center entrance and windows halfway between the door and sides of the house is shown. Two chimneys are in view and the roof seems to be of rolled roofing. A porchlight is next to the door as well as an attached mailbox. The house is now (2002) a part of Mission Mill Village on 12th Street, Salem, where several historic buildings have been relocated. |
