| DESCRIPTION | Pictured is a lady standing on top of a glacial erratic (rock) north of Bellevue in Yamhill County, Oregon on June 22, 1965. This is found at the Erratic Rock State Park which is located six miles east of Sheridan off of Highway 18. This state park has 4 1/2 acres, a hiking path, and a tour of rock formations deposited during the Ice Age. A remnant of glacier movement, Erratic Rock floated from eastern Washington and was deposited in the Willamette Valley during an Ice Age flood. |
