COLLECTIONBen Maxwell
DESCRIPTIONA plaque, "Class '06", from Salem High School is handed to Andrew A.(?) Lee by Supt. Walter Snyder in 1954 when the building had been almost completely razed. There is only a partial wall of the 3-story building with dormers providing additional rooms on the 4th floor still standing. Lee was a member of the school board in 1905. The school was located at Marion Street between Center and High Street. It had to make way for the present location of Meier & Frank Co. (1992).
