| DESCRIPTION | A plaque, "Class '06", from Salem High School is handed to Andrew A.(?) Lee by Supt. Walter Snyder in 1954 when the building had been almost completely razed. There is only a partial wall of the 3-story building with dormers providing additional rooms on the 4th floor still standing. Lee was a member of the school board in 1905. The school was located at Marion Street between Center and High Street. It had to make way for the present location of Meier & Frank Co. (1992). |
