| DESCRIPTION | Salem High School was constructed on Marion Street between High and Church Street. The school was a 3-story building with dormers providing additional rooms on the 4th floor. In 1906 the building was dedicated to Salem High School and graduated 20 students that June. This picture was taken in 1953 before razing began to make way for the present location of Meier & Frank Co. (1992). |
