DESCRIPTION	This photograph was displayed as a part of the Railroads in Salem exhibit from June to August, 1995 in the Heritage Room at the Salem Public Library. A southbound steam engine sits on the track next to the water tower at the Southern Pacific Passenger Station. Two box cars are sitting on the tracks next the the engine. A number of baggage carts sitting on the platform are either being loaded or unloaded from the train. Several delivery wagons are sitting in front of the depot. Houses in the left of the picture are along 12th street.
