This is a photo of a house in Salem, Oregon, taken by Bob Koval in 1978 as part of a CETA grant project to make a photographic record of historic Salem homes. This house, constructed in c.1917, is located at 2575 Lee Street SE. The architectural characteristics of this two story house include a brick chimney at the rear of the house, simple rectangular form, an entry porch across the front facade, decorative support brackets at the gable end eave, wide overhanging eaves, wood corner boards and double hung windows. There is a front lawn with bushes and shrubs in the front of the house. The architectural style is the Vernacular style.
