This is a photo of a house in Salem, Oregon, taken by Bob Koval in 1978 as part of a CETA grant project to make a photographic record of historic Salem homes. This house, constructed in c.1911, is located at 965 20th Street NE. The architectural characteristics of this one story house with basement include a gable end dormer over the entry porch, a brick chimney in the center of the house, a hipped roof, corner boards, horizontal wood siding and a vertical siding skirt. There is a front lawn with sparse shrubery in the front of the house. The architectural style is the Vernacular style.
