Seed warehouse at Derry Station, Polk County, Oregon, 1898
This photo is of a seed warehouse at Derry, which was a station on the Southern Pacific Railway line just east of Rickreall in Polk County, Oregon in 1898. An attempt was made in 1912 to change the name to Loganberry, but it no longer exists under either name. The area is predominantly agricultural and for many years was a top hop producing area in the state. Many local farmers are shown in front of the warehouse with their horse-drawn wagons.
