This is a photo of a house in Salem, Oregon, taken by Bob Koval in 1978 as part of a CETA grant project to make a photographic record of historic Salem homes. This house, constructed in c.1909, is located at 1796 Chemeketa Street NE. The architectural characteristics of this two story with basement house include a brick chimney on the left side of the house, gable end roofs, hipped roofs, double column porch supports, lattice porch screen, double hung windows, hipped porch roof, narrow band horizontal siding and wood corner boards. The architectural style is the Vernacular style.
