This is a photo of a house in Salem, Oregon, taken by Bob Koval in 1978 as part of a CETA grant project to make a photographic record of historic Salem homes. This house, constructed in c.1890, is located at 1309 Court Street NE. The architectural characteristics of this one-story home include hipped roof, double hung windows and an entry porch across the front facade. This house appears to have a back entrance in addition to its front entrance. Both entrances have porches. Two brick chimneys protrude from the roof. Decorative woodwork is visible between the porch posts. Landscaping includes several bushes, lawn, and a couple of trees. The architectural style is the Vernacular style.
