This is a photo of a house in Salem, Oregon, taken by Bob Koval in 1978 as part of a CETA grant project to make a photographic record of historic Salem homes. This house, constructed in c.1920is located a 140 - 15th Street SE. The architectural characteristics of this one-story house on a corner lot include a brick chimney in the center of the house, deep roof overhangs, roof eave decorative support brackets, hip and gable entry porch roof, cut stone entry porch support base and horizontal wood siding. The entryway includes a porch stone and wood pillars and a few steps. Rose bushes, shrubs, lawn, and a few, smaller trees makeup the landscape. The architectural style is the Bungalow and Craftsman style.
