DESCRIPTION
The statue from the top of the old Marion County Courthouse is being lifted by a crane before the demolition of the building. The intricate decoration on the Corinthian columns, the arched windows and porticoes clearly show. The details of the shingle roof add to the richness of the building's appearance. Metal ladders for fire escape and roof access can be seen at the left. The old courthouse was located at 100 High Street in Salem, Oregon. The new one was built in the same location.
