The Hollywood District in Salem, Marion County Oregon ca. 1966, a few years before it was significantly altered as Salem' first urban renewal project in the late 1960s - mid 1970s. In addition to major infrastructure projects, including reconfiguration of streets, additional projects included the new Salem Clinic and the Salem Senior Center. The Hollywood District was a self-contained community within NE Salem and is now (2007) part of the Highland Neighborhood in Salem's Ward 5.
