West Union Baptist Church in Washington County, Oregon, 1962
The West Union Baptist Church in Washington County was dedicated as the Oregon Centennial Church in 1853. The church was organized on May 25, 1844 on this site in the home of David Lennox. He was the captain of the first wagon train to cross the Rocky Mountains. This shows the wooden building on April 30, 1962.
