DESCRIPTION
This is a photograph of a street scene in Old Newport in Lincoln County taken from the balcony of The Abbey Hotel. Staff personnel are seen on the balcony at the right looking over a crowd standing on what appears to be a boardwalk. Several horse-drawn wagons with covers over them can be seen. Some of business signs on the south side of the street say: Agates Cut & Mounted, General Repairs; Newport Navagation Co. Ticket Office; Yaquina Bay Oyster and Chowder House; and Hot Sea Water Baths.
