This is a street view of Lonerock as seen in May 1963. The 2-story house in the background is the schoolhouse of Lonerock. Fromerly, it was used as the town's high school before it was turned into a grade school. Lonerock gets its name from a rock about 100 feet high and some 60 feet in diameter. It is a prominent landmark not far from the central part of the community.
