Oldest surviving school building in Polk County, Oregon, 1964
This is the oldest, surviving school building in Polk County as seen in August 1964. It was built in 1855 in Ballston. Ballston is a town in Polk County on the Southern Pacific railroad and was founded in 1878 by Isaac Ball who had a donation land claim where the town is. It was originally known as Ballsville.
