DESCRIPTION
This is the railroad depot at Crowley in Polk County as seen in March 1959. The railroad station looks abandoned. The station is on the Southern Pacific Company line between Holmes Gap and Rickreall, and was named for Solomon K. Crowley, an early resident of the neighborhood. He was born in Missouri in 1833 and came to Oregon in 1852.
