Hop pickers in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, 1890's
The hop pickers in this photo are lined up behind two long troughs of hops. The structure in the background is probably the hop dryer. Oregon's Willamette Valley was a majpr producer of hops in the latter half of the nineteenth century and early twentieth.
