COLLECTION

DESCRIPTION
In this photo of the Rock Creek Covered Bridge located between Logsden and Nashville in Lincoln County, logs are used inside the bridge as support for the wooden truss. The bridge was in a deteriorated condition (as noted by the damaged portal opening and support-logs) on May 15, 1957, when the photo was taken. The 38-foot Queenpost truss bridge was built in 1925. It survived until a new bridge was built in 1959 and it was replaced. It was on Road 542 at milepost 12.8.
